「Journey of the Forgotten」is a retro RPG.
Follow Quia on her journey to save her home continent from the evil powers that are starting to rise.
Find the source and look for fighters who are up to help with the task.
- Use magic abilities and techniques to overpower your enemies
- Make smart use of items inside and outside of battles
- Use buff/debuffs and increase your character's lvl to stay on top
- Discover a world full of treasures and hidden items
- Solve puzzles and overcome different challenges!
Fight with a maximum of four characters or raise the bar by going alone.
Worked on this for multiple years. Inspired by FF1.
If you are new to the genre I highly advise to save using multiple slots and proceed with caution.
(You can backup your save located in APPDATA/Company/Game)

The entire game had severe improvements concerning:
- Language (UI system and Battle Language translated)
- Choosable UI
- Music Room
- Picture Gallery
- All enemies/sprites and tilesets
- Save System and Horse Riding
- Hundreds of fixes
- Chapter System as a hint for future content
The pictures currently on steam are more representative of the current state.
The demo is out now!
I found a few missing dialogues or info (only one language).
Fixing this first. Might open this later.

All logic should work as I completed the game multiple times.
I will release the changes as soon as humanly possible and increase the version number.
